The stage is all set for the Independence Day Celebration to take off at Manekshaw Parade Grounds in the city where the Chief minister will hoist the tricolour at 9 am.
As many as 56 contingents, including those from police, Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Cadet Corps, Home Guards and Seva Dal, will be participating in the march past. The celebrations will see participation by around 2,600 schoolchildren.
