HOUSTON ? The Houston Fire Department was called to remove a naked man who refused to leave the roof of a Rice University academic building Friday, officials said.
The high-angle rescue took place around 4 p.m. at Sewall Hall located in the 6300 block of Main Street near Alumni Drive.
Witnesses said the 26-year-old man took off his clothes and climbed the scaffolding next to the building to get to the roof. ?
The HFD crews detained the naked man and wrapped him in a blanket before removing him from the roof with a winch system.
