In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1963 civil rights demonstration in Washington D.C., the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) changed its homepage logo in its Wednesday Google Doodle. The demonstration, more commonly known as the March on Washington, occured on August 28, 1963. It called for civil and economics rights, attracted over 250,000 people and was marked by the monumental speech made by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., titled ?I Have a Dream.?
