TYLER, TX (KLTV)- It's a national contest and an East Texas business is in it to win it, but they need your help. The Tyler boutique, A Boy and His Dog, entered an Intuit contest for small businesses.
The winner's store will be featured in a commercial to air on the Super Bowl in 2014. There are three phases of the contest. Right now, phase one, is public voting for their favorite business to get them through to the next round.
The owners said they're hoping East Texans will help them make their dream come true.
"This would be huge for our community, it would be huge for us as a family; we're just your average people, just trying to make it big, make a dream come true, and my passion is boys and dogs and we want to cater to that relationship," Stacy Watson, the owner of A Boy and His Dog, said.
Each week contestants can also win smaller prizes, like cash for their business. The deadline for phase one is September 22.
