U.S. HealthWorks has 18 centers in Washington state

?

Labor Day is a celebration of American workers. But for one leading national healthcare company, it?s also an appropriate time to caution workers and their employers regarding workplace injuries.

?

According to a study (see below) just released by U.S. HealthWorks, the most common workplace injury among the patients at its 208 centers nationwide was back pain.

?

?Back injuries do occur they can be physically and emotionally debilitating ? and often require drastic measures to heal,? said Dr. Leonard M. Okun, National Medical Director for U.S. HealthWorks

?

According to the U.S. HealthWorks study, for the second straight year back injuries were twice as prevalent as the No. 2 injury -- finger cuts. Shoulder sprains were third on the list, followed by sprained necks and leg/knee injuries.

?

A U.S. HealthWorks doctor is available to discuss this Labor Day study and provide tips to avoid workplace injuries for both office and outdoor workers.
