Contestants parade wild facial hair styles at annual moustache championships

This was the fourth annual competition organised by Beard Team USA, and saw men sporting all varieties of outlandish facial hair styles, from spiked to bushy.

The contest allowed participants to indulge in imitation styles, mimicking famous hirsute figures such as Salvador Dali, the surrealist artist known for his swirling moustache.

Jeff Langum, who won gold for his full natural beard, said the competition was about, "catching up with old friends from all over the country, all over the world ... seeing each other and hanging out, that's what it's really about."
