Express FC foot ball club yesterday ended 16 years of waiting for a domestic cup by winning the Bell Uganda Super League cup after beating Bidco FC at Namboole stadium.
In a tantalizing Match which ended 2-1 saw Yayo Lutimba scoring a braze in the 10th minute and another in the 50th to clinch the title.
Bidco FC?s goal was scored by Herbert Odipio in the 74th which put express fans and managers on pressure before news from other games came in to calm down the nerves of express managers
Express had last won the title in 1996 with Coach Dragan Popadic from Serbian. Other previously cups were won 1974, 1975, 1993 and now 2012.
