The NBA?s relocation committee met in a conference call last week to discuss details about the potential sale of the Sacramento Kings and their move to Seattle.

Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, who broke the story last week that a deal between the Maloof family and the Seattle group led by Chris Hansen and Steve Ballmer, reported Monday that the call took place last Tuesday ? one day before the report came out.

Sources tell Yahoo! That the call detailed ?a non-binding set of deal points? for a $525 million sale.

The relocation committee includes several NBA owners and is headed by Clay Bennett, the man who bought the Seattle SuperSonics in 2006 and moved them to Oklahoma City two years later.

There have been reports that the Maloofs wanted to maintain some stake in ownership, but that the Seattle group wants them out.

NBA TV analyst David Aldridge reported Monday he believes that, regardless of reports that the Maloofs may sell to new, local owners, the Kings will end up in Seattle. He suggests that Hansen might have been waiting for the Seahawks season to end because he didn?t want to upstage the football team.
